Rosso dei BARBI BARBI

As the production of Brunello di Montalcino is strictly limited, to satisfy our winery vocation, we decided to plant in our property different clones of Sangiovese, that otherwise aren’t registered in the DOCG Brunello di Montalcino. With these vineyards we produce Rosso dei Barbi, a fresh wine, enchanting but without demands, that preserves in its simplicity the style of our company. During the alcoholic fermentation, that is processed together with maceration at a controlled temperature of 28°C, lasts 10 days. For the production we use 100% Sangiovese.

Features of Rosso dei Barbi

This traditional red wine of Tuscany has a shiny ruby red colour. Between the fruity scents, we can easily recognize cherry, joined to spices and flowers. Its taste is fresh, dynamic, with light tannins and a pleasant persistence

Recommended food pairings while tasting this red wine produced by Barbi

A classical wine ideal for cold cuts, main dishes, pizza, savoury cakes and white meat, cooked with light dressing. Its evolution in the bottle lasts at least 2 years. It has to be served at 18°C in a high.
