Wine description
This Rosso "Oniris" from the Sicilian Winery Duca di Salaparuta is made with a blend of red grapes chosen according to the season. Immediately after the manual harvest which takes place in September, the must undergoes the fermentation phase in steel tanks. Before being bottled it passes an aging of 5 months.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
Upon organoleptic examination this wine shows a brilliant ruby red color; on the nose there are delicate aromas of red fruits with citrus hints. A balanced wine with a savory and fresh sip and endowed with a nice acidity.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Sicilian wine
Excellent with cured meats or with not very structured meat dishes; To be served at a temperature of 17-18°C in a not very large glass.
