Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is one of the most representative wines of Piedmont region. Grapes used to produce this excellent red wine come from 15-20 years-old vineyards, located in the Langhe region. Grapes are harvested between September and October. After the first fermentation, which occurs in stainless steel vessels at a temperature between 29 and 31°C, wine is aged in barriques for a year. This process donates to this wine an excellent aging potential.
Characteristics of Langhe Nebbiolo wine
On the nose it conveys mature red fruits notes. Taste is warm and balanced whit soft cocoa notes, melted butter and mature fruits.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It should be served in a wide glass at a temperature of 14-16°C. A decantation of 1 or 2 hours before serving is suggested. It can be paired with red and game meat.
