Dogliani DOCG "Santa Lucia" La Fusina
Dogliani Superiore DOCG, by La Fusina winery, is one of the new DOCG, warranty released only to higher quality Dolcetto. Vineyards are about 80 years old, so they are very ancient. After 6-8 days of fermentation at a temperature of about 26°-29°C, wine is refined in stainless steel vessels for 4-6 months, then bottled. Wine is released on the market after being aged for 8 months.
Characteristics of this red wine
It presents a ruby red colour with violet veins. Taste is warm and vigorous. Bouquet is dominated by raspberry and violet notes.
Recommended pairings while tasting this wine from Piedmont
It should be served in a wide glass at a temperature of 18°C. It can perfectly be paired with red meat and main courses which display intense flavours.
