From the precious and refined grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc vine expertly bred within the company environment of the Abbazia di Novacella. The origin is that of the classic area of the Conca di Bressanone and Cornaiano. Harvest involves the vinification of 2/3 of the must, which ferments and matures in stainless steel, 1/3 in oak barrels of 30 hectoliters. Refinement lasts for at least 10 months.
Sauvignon Praepositus DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
An intense straw yellow color. Perfume expresses rich fruity and vegetable scents embellished with a slight spicy reference. Taste is fine, elegant, fresh, moderately aromatic. Tasty and very long, it closes with a slightly bitter finish on the fruit.
