Pinot Nero DOC ABBAZIA DI NOVACELLA
Coming from pure Pinot Noir vinification. The origin is the classic one of the Cornaiano area, near Appiano. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in 60 hl oak barrels. At last, refinement which extends for 6 months.
Pinot Nero DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
An intense ruby red color. Perfume expresses beautiful aromas of strawberry, raspberry, plum, cherry and undergrowth. Taste on the palate is dry, pleasantly tannic, harmonious and velvety. It closes with a slightly bitter finish with excellent persistence.

An excellent wine for the whole meal, perfect with rich meat-based main courses, even stewed ones, and medium-aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 14°C in a high and wide wine glass. The alcohol content achieved is 13.5% Vol.
