Lagrein DOC ABBAZIA DI NOVACELLA
It is from the 100% vinification of Lagrein grapes that the Abbazia di Novacella produces this sensational DOC wine of the local tradition. The origin of the vines is liked to the area near Bolzano. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in oak barrels. Refinement lasts for at least 6 months in the bottle.
Lagrein DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
A ruby red color with purple hues. Nose scent is characterized by a bouquet of violets, berries and musk. The taste on the palate is full-bodied, fresh and velvety at the same time.
