Descrizione vino

Within the Tramin Winery wines has to be remarked the" T Rosso". It is a blend composed by Schiava, Pinot Nero and Merlot grapes. It is honored by the IGT certification and the grapes are cultivated in the micro areas of Termeno, Egna and Montagna in the Trentino Alto Adige. The cultivation soils are calcareous, clay and pebbly. They are located at 250-550 meters above the sea level. The annual profit is 75 hectoliters per hectare. After the harvest the grapes are destemmed and they have to ferment under temperature control which don’t pass the 28°C. The process takes place in big steel tanks.

 

Characteristics of the Vigneto delle Dolomiti "T Rosso" wine

This is a sensational and exceptional wine. The T Rosso of Tramin is the synergic result between lightness given by the Schiava grapes and fruity aromas of the Pinot Nero and Merlot. A perfect mix which expresses the history and tradition of the wine culture in South Tyrol which makes this wine unique. In the glass the T Rosso has a bright ruby red and garnet color, with a very fruity aroma and a fresh and soft taste.

The "T Red" of the Tramin company is an elegant wine perfect for structured courses of the Italian cooking especially the north one. It is perfect also with low-fat meat and structured fish courses.
