The Nussbaumer has an old tradition of 700 years in the cultivation of the vineyard and it is one of the most ancient at Termeno. The vines are located at “Il maso” and “Nussbaumer” in the Sella hamlet located at the north of Termeno. The vines are located at 350-550 meters above the sea level where the wind comes in the afternoons to ventilate the vineyards. These are located on clay and pebbly soils with a calcareous layer which is located from 20 cm to 1 meter deep in the underground. The profit is very low at 45 hectoliters per hectare.
