Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG SECONDO MARCO
This Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Classico of Secondo Marco Winery is obtained with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, as well as with a small percentage of native grapes. After the manual harvest which takes place with a careful selection of the best bunches, we proceed with a subsequent drying of 140 days. Fermentation, on the other hand, involves contact with the skins for a duration of 20 days. The wine thus matures for 18 months in large barrels and for 6 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Valpolicella wine
On the organoleptic examination this wine shows an intense ruby red color with strong hints of black cherries and violets and with a hint of cocoa on the finish. In the mouth it enters full-bodied and velvety.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine
A perfect wine with dry pastries, but also with blue cheeses. Also excellent as a meditation wine. To be served at a temperature of 15°C in a not very large glass.
