This rosé Costiero wine from the Giustini winery in Puglia is made from pure Negroamaro grapes from the company vineyards of San Giorgio Ionico: the vineyards are planted on medium-textured soils with a good percentage of clay. The harvest takes place by hand during the month of September: this is followed by destemming and soft pressing and therefore alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 15-16°C. The refinement is carried out entirely in steel.
Characteristics of this wine from Puglia
It has a pale pink color. The olfactory notes recall fruity and floral notes such as apple, red and pink fruits as well as notes that recall the Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it strikes with a marked minerality and a pleasant freshness.
Recommended pairings with this Salento rosé wine
