This rosé wine from Cantina Giustini is born from the AVOGLIA line, dedicated to young, fresh wines with a simple drink. The grapes used for its production are pure Negroamaro and come from the vineyards of San Giorgio Ionico, Taranto: the vineyards are between 10 and 15 years old and are planted on medium-textured soils with good fertility. The harvest takes place in the last week of September: this is followed by destemming and maceration of the grapes for a few hours, at a temperature of 10-12°C. Fermentation and refinement both take place in steel.
Characteristics of this Salento wine
It has a pale, very delicate pink color. The olfactory notes are reminiscent of pomegranate, cherry, and raspberry. On the palate it is fresh and pleasantly fruity.
