Wine description
From the heart of Valle d'Itria, the iconic “land of Trulli” located between Bari and the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto, comes this Apulian rosé wine from the Tenute Girolamo winery. For its production, a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Primitivo grapes is used: once the harvest is over, these undergo maceration for a few hours at a temperature of 10 C°, after which what is defined as the must flower is extracted. Once the static decantation of the flower must has taken place, fermentation is started at a controlled temperature of 16-18 C° in steel.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It presents itself with a soft pink colour. The olfactory notes recall red berries of undergrowth, strawberry and balsamic hints. On the palate it is fresh and slightly savoury.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian rosé wine
Try it with grilled vegetables, white meat and fish dishes. serve at a temperature of 12 C°.
