Ribolla Gialla DOC by Volpe Pasini is a white wine produced in the Eastern Hills of Friuli Venezia Giulia from pure Ribolla Gialla grapes, one of the most representative indigenous grape varieties in the area. Winemaking takes place in steel at a controlled temperature to preserve aromatic freshness and varietal identity, followed by a brief refinement that enhances its balance and expressiveness.
Characteristics of this wine from the Volpe Pasini Winery
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose it is fine and immediate, with scents of white flowers, citrus and white-fleshed fruit, sometimes enriched with light tropical and mineral notes. In the mouth it is fresh, dry and lively, supported by a good natural acidity that gives smoothness and a pleasant savoury sensation on the finish.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian white wine
It pairs very well as an aperitif and naturally accompanies seafood appetizers, white fish, shellfish and light fried foods, thanks to its freshness and its ability to cleanse the palate. The recommended service temperature is approximately 8–12 °C.
