Morellino Di Scansano RISERVA "SENTINELLE" DOCG MANTELLASSI

The Sentinelle represents the best qualitative expression of the Fattoria Mantellassi, concerning Morellino di Scansano DOCG. The grape variety used in the blend is that of Sangiovese for 85%, to which is added that of Alicante for 15%. The origin is that of Magliano in Toscana. The harvest is carried out with the grapes at the perfect degree of ripeness. The vinification with the traditional red method follows in small 50 hl tanks with long maceration. Maturation and refinement take place for 20 months in French oak barriques and a few months in the bottle.

A ruby red colour. The scent is intense, of wild berries. The taste has an harmonious, elegant, persistent flavor.
