Wine description
This red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery is made from pure Malvasia grapes. After the grapes are picked, vinification involves maceration at a controlled temperature of 24-28 C°. After malolactic fermentation, the final stage of bottle ageing takes place.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
It has a very intense red colour. The olfactory notes are reminiscent of red fruits such as pomegranate and raspberry while on the palate it is pleasantly fresh and with good balance.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine
Perfect with pasta and mature cheeses. Try it with pizza. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
