Wine description
This Primitivo Gioia del Colle Fanova from the Apulian winery Terre Carsiche 1939 comes from pure Primitivo grapes, cultivated on Karst soils at 300-350 m above sea level. Following the mid-September harvest, the grapes are fermented in steel at a controlled temperature for about 15 days. The final stage of refinement requires bottle ageing for 12 months.
Characteristics of this Apulian wine
A very intense ruby red colour; the olfactory notes are very intense and pleasant, as is the harmonious and full-bodied taste that hits the palate.
Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine
Try it with typical products from this region, but in general with all meat dishes. Also excellent with cheese and cured meats. Serve at a temperature of 18-20 C°.
