Wine description
From a blend of Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia Nera grapes comes this red wine from the Apulian Varvaglione winery. Before harvesting, the berries are dried on the vine for about twenty days. After harvesting, short maceration of the grapes takes place at a temperature of about 12-14 C°: this procedure aims to extract the typical aromas of each grape. Afterwards, fermentation takes place for about 20 days, again at a controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the final stage of ageing takes place in barriques for 6 months.
Characteristics of this wine from Apulia
