The Lugana "Sansonina" of the Zenato winery from Veneto born on the sweet hills dating back the Cenozoic period (around 15000 years ago) that thanks to the proximity of the Garda lake has a favourable and mite climate. On this territory rich of stones and clay, the Trebbiano di Lugana has improved becoming one of the most successful vineyards in Italy. The “Sansonina”’s bottle had to be remarkable and useful for the refinement. The shape is similar to the little barrels to help the continuity for the two steps of refinement. It is established that a wine that refines in spherical volumes ages in a better way. The vineyards have an average year of 25. The density is 8500 trees per hectare cultivated with the Guyot method. The slow fermentation lasts 10-12 days and the refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks. The bottle refinement lasts 6 months before being commercialized.
