Lugana RISERVA DOC LE MORETTE

This white wine from Cantina Le Morette is made exclusively from Turbiana grapes, grown and carefully selected from the estate’s vineyard, which is planted on soil particularly rich in clay. This is a limited-edition wine, bottled in numbered bottles, reflecting the meticulous work involved. The grapes are harvested by hand in the second ten-day period of October, and vinification involves transfer to stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C following a brief maceration. Fermentation takes place using indigenous yeasts, with a long ageing on the lees for 12 months. Part of the wine is aged in 500-litre oak barrels.

Characteristics of this wine from the Le Morette winery

It has a very bright yellow colour and a bouquet of white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruit. Pleasantly harmonious on the palate.

Recommended pairings for this Lugana Riserva

Excellent with particularly elaborate fish dishes and white meats. Serve at a temperature of 12–13°C.
