The Lugana DOC Prestige of the agricultural company Cà Maiol is a prestigious and refined wine and it is the reference wine for its production territory. The cultivation soil is quite peculiar, very rich of clay; the micro climate of the Garda lake gives to the noble vine, coming from Trebbiano di Lugana, some white berries rich of scented hints and unique tastes balanced between sugars and sapid taste. The Prestige is produced exclusively with grapes coming from the 25 hectares located at Trebbiano di Lugana. The average age of the vines is 30 years old and they are in the Maiolo estate which is the main location of the Cà Maiol company. The wine produced is sapid for long time, with a remarked acidity, very salificated. The Lugana DOC Prestige wine is produced by a soft pressing of the grapes and a fermentation in steel tanks. The wine don’t need any settling time and it is bottled until the next spring. The annual production is about 250.000 bottles which are distributed in national and international prestigious wine shops. This wine is produced with 100% Trebbiano di Lugana grapes.
