Pinot Nero "VILLA NIGRA" COLTERENZIO
The Villa Nigra is the flagship of this winery. The grape variety used for its vinification is that of Pinot Nero in purity. The origin is the classic one of the finest company, which vineyards are located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level. The vines have a southwest exposure on gravelly and calcareous soils of morainic origin. Cool microclimate. Vinification involves alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C. Then malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels and subsequent aging of the wine for another 12 months partly in new barriques and partly in barriques second / third pass.
Pinot Nero Villa Nigra’s features
An intense ruby red color. Scent is characterized by the fruity aromas of small red fruits, cherries and fine spices, well integrated with hints of toasting. Taste is broad, rich and ripe, sweet and intriguing in the mouth, with soft tannins and a long finish.

Perfect with white meats and lamb. The optimum serving temperature is 16°C. The alcohol content achieved is 14.5% Vol.
