This sensational and innovative red wine from Tuscany is honored by the IGT colli toscani certification. It is made by 100% Pinot nero grapes. The family vine is in the “Case Via” hamlet and it is exposed at west. The density is 6000 trees per hectare and it is cultivated with the Guyot method. There is a first spontaneous fermentation with the yeasts and the maceration in truncated cones of Allier for 2 weeks with manual pressing to guarantee the color. It follows 12 months of maturation in Troncais and Allier barrels. This more handcrafted way to do the wine allows to obtain a Pinot Nero more intriguing, delicious with a refined sip. It is a Pinot Nero very fragrant, fruity with a unique elegance.
Characteristics of the Pinot Nero "Case Via" wine
It has compact ruby red color very bright. The smell is rich of cherry and mint aromas together with licorice, strawberries, jasmine and tea leaves. The bouquet is wide and intriguing. The taste is elegant, velvety with tannins, softness and freshness. It has a long persistence.
