Aglianico Sannio "Lucchero" DOP LA GUARDIENSE
This refined label from the La Guardiense winery represents the core of the Crù line. Vinification involves 100% pure Aglianico grapes. The origin of the vines falls within the company areas, in the Sannio Beneventano area in Campania. Harvest takes place in the second half of October. Vinification involves maceration on the skins for 18 days with a few daily pumping over, 20% of bloodletting, fermentation in stainless steel.
Aglianico Sannio Lucchero Dop’s features
An intense color with purple hues. Scent has ample and rich sensations of cherry blend with the vanilla one given by the passage in barrels. Taste is enveloping and intense, with important but silky tannins.
