Descrizione vino

The Schiava grapes, wisely worked, can produces this sensational Freisenger wine of the Tramin winery which is able to bring home the ancient local traditions and the most innovative and bold valorization of the territory. The Freisenger wine is honored by the DOC Sudtirol Alto Adige certification and the grapes come from the southern side of Termeno where the vineyards are extended inside the Mass of Freisinge located at 315 meters above the sea level. It is located in a light slope and it has a perfect climatic condition to cultivate the Schiava vineyard in Alto Adige. The soil is calcareous and clay. The grapes are firstly destemmed and they have to ferment in steel tanks. It follows the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and finally 6 months of aging in oak barrels.

The Freisinger Schiava wine has a clear, light and bright color. It has fruity aromas which are also present in the taste which is pleasant, balanced and fresh.

It is suggested the match with main courses of the Tyrolean cooking, with fried food and the fume or traditional cold cuts. It has to be served at 12°C in high and wide glasses.
