Wine description
"Fiano" is made from 100% Fiano grapes grown in Nardò, in the province of Lecce from vineyards more than 50 years old. In the cellar they are then further selected on a modern sorting table. A temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel follows before bottling.
Characteristics of this white wine from Cantina Schola Sarmenti
The wine has an intense straw yellow color; the nose is easy to recognize the typical notes of the variety. From acacia flowers to the inevitable aroma of toasted hazelnuts. In the mouth, however, it is a pleasantly fresh wine, with hints of mineral notes and a sapid and pleasantly long finish.
Serving suggestions tasting this white wine
Excellent with seafood appetizers or with tasty first courses. Serve at a temperature of 10ºC in a glass not very wide.
