Descrizione vino

From the vinification of 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. Collavini winery produces this sensational red wine of the Friulian tradition. The origin of the vines is that of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The harvest takes place at the end of September by hand. The vinification foresees that the grapes are destemmed and left to macerate on the skins for a week. The short fermentation that follows takes place in steel winemakers at controlled temperatures. The aging and aging continue until spring in steel.

 

Features of this Refosco

The aspect is ruby red in color and marked purple nail. The aroma is decidedly fresh and vinous; the fruity varietal perception of wild blackberry and raspberry overlaps with delicate hints of licorice. The mouthfeel is sincere, balanced and caressing, supported by a slightly herbaceous background.

 

Serving suggestions tasting this red wine

A wine particularly suitable with white meat dishes, excellent with some fish dishes such as eel and blue fish in general, turbot and fish soups in red. The optimal serving temperature is 14ºC, in a high and wide glass that lets the aromas flow.
