A delicate Moscato, as well as the flower from which it takes its name: Moscato d'Asti Biancospino is a fresh, graceful, pleasantly citrusy sweet wine. The pure Moscato grapes used for its production come from the municipalities of Coazzolo and Castagnole delle Lanze, from south-facing vineyards located at 300 m above sea level. Once harvested during the harvest, they are pressed and then subjected to alcoholic fermentation in an autoclave at controlled temperature for approximately 1 month.
Characteristics of this Moscato d'Asti Biancospino
It has a deep yellow color with bright reflections. The olfactory bouquet is an explosion of fruity notes of pineapple, zagara and white peach. On the palate it is fresh, balanced, with an elegant mineral finish.
Recommended pairings with this sweet Piedmont wine
Excellent with dry pastries, panettone, and desserts with cream or chocolate. Serve at 6-8°C.
