Wine description

This Bianco "Oniris" from the Sicilian winery Duca di Salaparuta is made with a blend of territorial white grapes chosen on the basis of seasonality. Immediately after the manual harvest which takes place in September, the must remains in contact with the skins for a short period. Before being bottled it rests for a few months in steel.

Characteristics of this Sicilian wine

To the organoleptic examination it presents itself as a wine with a brilliant straw yellow color; on the nose there are delicate aromas of peach and banana and floral scents. On the palate it is balanced with a savory and fresh sip and with a nice aroma.

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Sicilian wine

Excellent as an aperitif or with fish-based dishes that are not very structured; to try with fresh cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 10-12°C in a not very large glass.
