Cygnus DOC Tasca d'Almerita
A swan lived in the lake of Villa Tasca and Richard Wagner, that stayed there for a period, contemplated him while in 1881 he was finishing “Parsifal”. This wine is a homage to the German musician and has an international heart made of Nero d’ Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, tobacco and chocolate are the result of the “elevage” in tonneaux. It is composed by 60% Nero d’Avola completed by 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated in Regaleali estate in the district of Palermo. The aging is developed in Allier Tronç oak barrels that contains 300 liters, 25% new and 75% used, where the wine rests for at least 12 months.

Intense ruby red colour with a rich scent. It is characterized by blackberries, raspberries, cherries, vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. Its taste is fruity and fragrant, with a balanced sourness.

Perfect with cold cuts, game and roasted meat. It has to be served at 18° C in a high, wide wine glass that allows oxygenation.
