Descrizione vino

From the 100% vinification of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the Collavini winery produces this sensational red wine of the Friulian tradition. The origin of the vines falls within the IGT territory of Venezia Giulia. The blend of grapes used comes from the hills and the stony lowlands. The harvest takes place in October. The vinification provides that the grapes are de-stemmed and brought into automatic and thermo-conditioned steel winemakers; the fermentation on the skins lasts about two weeks, while the aging, from the following spring, continues in aged oak barrels.

 

Characteristics of the Cabernet "Roncaccio"

The wine shows a dark ruby red color, with reflections tending to garnet. The aroma is intense and deep to the nose, where fruity and spicy notes overlap. The taste is excellent body, warm, enveloping, with a structure in perfect balance.

 

Serving suggestions tasting this product from Cantina Collavini

A wine that requires dishes based on game, both fur and feather. It is absolutely to try with the baked goose, accompanied by a fig mustard. The optimal serving temperature is 16°C.
