This label of Cantina Mesa comes from the vinification in blend of grapes of red berried vines, with a prevalence of Carignano and Syrah. The production area is the classic one of the territory of Sulcis, in the south-west extremity of Sardinia. The harvest develops in the second decade of September. The vinification involves the maceration of 4-6 days with the skins, aging in steel for 3 months and at least 2 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color, an intense nose; it expresses dominant aromas of red fruits, in particular cherry and blackberry, herbaceous and slightly balsamic notes and hints of black pepper. The taste on the palate is strong, with a velvety tannic texture and a harmonious structure.

An excellent wine in combination with fresh and slightly spicy meats, it also goes well with a puttanesca spaghetti, a mixed grilled meat and fatty and intense fish dishes. The optimal serving temperature is 16ºC.
