ALTAVILLA DELLA CORTE Grillo FIRRIATO
The vine used for its vinification is that of 100% pure Grillo. The origin of the vineyards is that of the Agro di Trapani, in the Borgo Guarini estate. The harvest involves manual harvesting in the third ten days of August and the first ten days of September. The vinification involves a soft pressing, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature and finally the refinement of the wine which lasts for 3 months on the noble lees or "sur lie" in stainless steel tanks with daily stirring
Altavilla della Corte Grillo Ferriato’s features
A pale straw yellow appearance, crossed by lively greenish tones. The scent is typical of the Sicilian varietal, it inebriates the nose with its fresh and intense citrus fruits, which meet with delicious nuances of almonds and melons. It is a wine to be discovered and experienced in its delicate complexity of fruity aromas and fragrances of lavender and broom.
