This Spumante is another noteworthy wine of Cantina Letrari, founded in 1976 by Leonello Letrari and his wife Vittoria: the territory is that of Trentino Alto Adige, more precisely the Vallagarina where the vineyards of the Letrari family extend over 23 hectares: Here the hills enjoy the sun and wind typical of this valley, thus giving rise to wines with an enviable freshness and flavor. The Spumante Trento DOC Quore millesimato is obtained from only Chardonnay grapes harvested exclusively by hand; then it is left on the lees for at least 40 months.
Characteristics of Spumante Trento DOC Brut Riserva Quore
Quore Brut Riserva is an immediate wine, ready to drink, but also suitable to stay in the cellar for a few years, which surprises for its lively and elegant. The Chardonnay grapes of high hills give a bright and lively golden color, with hints of yellow pulp fruit, traces of cedar and laurel. In the mouth it is vertical, full and of solid structure, with a persistent finish like its bubbles.
Recommended pairings with this sparkling
A fresh and creamy wine that goes perfectly with any meal but in particular with fish dishes. Try it with appetizers made with raw ham. This sparkling wine should be served at a temperature of 6/8 degrees in a tall and tapered glass.
