This rosé wine from Veneto is made from a blend of Corvina, Trebbiano, Syrah and Carmenere grapes. Its name derives from the fact that contact with the skins lasts exactly eleven minutes, during which time the finest parts of the grapes are extracted, along with the characteristic rosé colour. The must is cooled in steel for about 24 hours to allow the solid parts to settle. Selected yeasts are then used to start alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 13-16°C. Once this phase is complete, the wine remains on the lees for 2-3 months before being filtered and bottled.
Characteristics of this wine from Veneto
Floral thanks to the Corvina grape variety; long finish due to the use of the Trebbiano grape variety. Hints of spice and fruit thanks to the Syrah grape variety and particularly structured on the palate thanks to the Carmenere grape variety.
