This red wine from Pasqua Winery originates from the Montevegro vineyard, covering 23 hectares on top of a hill 350 metres above sea level: here, the soil is particularly calcareous, which gives the product good minerality. The grapes used to produce this red wine from Veneto are a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Oseleta: once harvested manually, they are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature of 20-22°C, with maceration on the skins for about twenty days. This is followed by malolactic fermentation in steel and finally maturation in oak tonneaux and barriques for 16 months.
Characteristics of this red wine from Veneto
It has a very intense ruby red colour. The bouquet evokes black fruits and berries, as well as balsamic notes. On the palate, it impresses with its silky tannins and an aftertaste of undergrowth.
Recommended pairings with this Cabernet Sauvignon
Excellent with red meat and game stews, mushroom risotto and radicchio risotto. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
