Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Anniversary DOC Collefrisio

This Abruzzo red wine from the Collefrisio Winery is made from pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes, harvested during the last ten days of October. This is a special limited edition, with only 6000 bottles produced. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed, pressed and macerated in contact with the skins. Ageing takes place in barriques for 24 months and then in bottles for a further 12 months.

 

 

 

 

 

It has a very intense ruby red colour. Notes of blackberry, berries and cherry emerge on the nose. On the palate it impresses with its great structure and velvety texture; excellent persistence.

 

 

 

 

 

Perfect with meat and game dishes. Also excellent with first courses based on tasty sauces and with mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
