Descrizione vino

The Passito "L'Autentica" from Cantine del Notaio Winery comes from the desire to complete the company range with a great dessert wine. It is produced with 70% Moscato and 30% Malvasia grapes grown in the vineyards of the Vulture, in Basilicata. After the manual harvest in crates in the last week of September, it follows vinification in new barriques with 12 months of aging in the same barriques and another 12 months of aging in bottle.

 

Basilicata Bianco Dolce L'AUTENTICA's features

On the organoleptic examination, this passito wine has a golden yellow color with bright amber hues. The nose has a wide and rich palette of aromas, with notes of candied citrus peel, almond, dried fruit, orange jam, dried apricot, acacia honey and floral nuances. The palate is soft and soft, with a sip of dense and complex aromas, long and harmonious, which stretches towards a very persistent finish.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this product from Cantine del Notaio winery

Try it with small dry pastry, with sweets made with almond paste, Cannoli and Cassata or with aged cheeses. The wine should be served at a temperature of 10ºC in glasses not too large.
