Malvasia by Villa Russiz is fresh, classy, perfumed and praises the denomination DOC Collio. It is produced with 100% Malvasia Istriana, cultivated on the hills around the headquarter of the company, on soils mainly composed by marl and with different exposition. The grapes are harvested manually during the fresh hours of the morning. Then, the soft pressing of the entire grapes extracts the free-run must that is immediately poured into the fermentation containers with a continuous control of the temperatures. The wine rests on its sediments for at least 8 months and then it is bottled (about 8-9 months after the harvest). A great classical that is the result of a careful manual selection, a perfect maturation and a scrupulous wine-making, that considers only the use of steel containers, in order to preserve the freshness that characterize this wine. A refined, elegant and aromatic white that is fruity, harmonious and persistent, perfect with vegetarian dishes and the ideal solution for a pleasant dinner with friends.

This sensational white wine offers a straw yellow colour full of green shades that underline its youth and its freshness. The perfume expresses a wide, aromatic bouquet that recalls apricot, peach and roses. Its taste is fresh, soft, enchanting and strong, with a grat final and a good persistence.

Suitable with mushrooms, declined in every version. Excellent with delicate cold cuts, with particular dishes based on chesses like pumpkin “gnocchi” with smoked ricotta. It has to be served at 8°C in a high, wide wine glass that allows the diffusion of the scents.
