Wine description
This Friulian white wine from Zorzettig Winery is made from pure Malvasia grapes grown in the Friuli DOC area of the Colli Orientali. After manual harvesting in the second ten days of September, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in steel at a controlled temperature. This is followed by racking at the end of fermentation and the wine remains in steel on the lees until March following the harvest.
Characteristics of this Friulian wine
It has a delicate straw yellow colour. The olfactory bouquet includes notes such as lemon, peach, white flowers and spices. On the palate it has a good sapid vein and a persistent finish.
Recommended pairings with this Friuli white wine
Perfect with fish dishes: warm fish starters, pasta with mussels, grilled dishes. Try it with battered vegetables. Serve at a temperature of 8-10 C°.
