Inzolia di Feudo Arancio originates in the Acate area, in the province of Ragusa, in a warm and breezy climate that favors optimal ripening of the grapes. The vineyards are planted on loose, sandy soils, particularly suited to the production of aromatic and fragrant white wines. Harvesting generally takes place in the second week of September, often during the cooler hours to preserve aromatic integrity. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by natural decanting of the must. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature around 18 °C for a few days, followed by a maturation period on the yeasts which contributes to enriching structure and complexity. The process ends with filtration, stabilization and bottling, maintaining a style marked by freshness and expressive cleanliness.
Characteristics of this Feudo Arancio Inzolia
In the calyx it has a pale straw yellow colour. The olfactory profile is distinctly fruity, with notes of pear, apricot and both white and yellow peach, which define an immediate and inviting character. On the palate it is fragrant and harmonious, with a soft and enveloping texture supported by a good freshness. The light vanilla nuances enrich the sip without weighing it down, contributing to an elegant and flowing overall balance, typical of this native Sicilian grape variety.
