Bottega's Prosecco DOC Extra Dry is made from a blend of Glera, Chardonnay, and Pinot grapes grown in the province of Treviso. After the harvest, the grapes are subjected to soft pressing and the must is fermented white at a controlled temperature. Sparkling wine is then autoclaved according to the Martinotti Method, which allows the primary aromas and typical freshness of the grape variety to be preserved. The result is a young sparkling wine, designed to be consumed within a short period to enhance its fragrance and expressive immediacy.
Features of this Prosecco di Bottega
From an organoleptic point of view it has a straw yellow colour with golden reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. Fruity notes of apple, peach and pear emerge on the nose, accompanied by delicate floral nuances of acacia. In the mouth it is soft, enveloping and balanced, with a good acidity that balances the sugary residue typical of the Extra Dry type, offering a pleasant flavour and a fragrant and harmonious closure.
Recommended pairings with this wine from Veneto
It lends itself very well as an aperitif and in the preparation of cocktails, but it is also a versatile wine at the table: it accompanies light first courses, vegetable or legume soups, fish dishes, white meats and fresh cheeses, as well as preparations such as risottos or lightly spiced dishes. Serve at a temperature of 4-5°C.
