Wine description
Produced from pure Friulano grapes, an indigenous Friuli Venezia Giulia variety par excellence, this white wine from the Zorzettig Winery is pleasantly fresh and mineral. After the grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 18-20 C° for about ten days; the wine thus remains on the noble lees until the spring following the harvest before being bottled.
Characteristics of this Friuli Venezia Giulia wine
It has a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The olfactory notes recall citrus fruits and spices as well as floral hints; on the palate it is mineral with a savoury finish.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian white wine
Excellent with fish dishes and fresh cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 8-10 C
