Cortona Merlot DOC is a full-bodied red wine of Tuscany region. It is made from 100% Merlot grapes.
Characteristics of Cortona Merlot
This fine wine presents an intense red colour with mulberry reflections. Velvet, balanced and sapid in taste, this wine spreads the typical vanilla-softness conferred by oak. Its bouquet merges the fragrance of mixed berries with pleasant note of licorice and vanilla.
Recommended pairings while tasting Cortona Merlot wine
It should be served in a broad crystal glass at a temperature of 16-18°C. It can enhance its own properties if uncorked at least one hour before serving. Cortona di Merlot can be paired with red meat, game meat and aged cheeses.
