Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are the grapes that make up the blend for this red wine from the Famiglia Falorni Winery. The grapes are selected by hand before harvesting by machine: they are then subjected to a short cold maceration for a few hours. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with yeasts present on the grapes and continues for 25 days at a temperature of 26-28°C. The final aging phase takes place in French oak for 20 months plus a final period of 12 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
It has an intense garnet red color and a large bouquet rich in spicy notes, leather, black fruit, smoke notes and graphite. On the palate it is warm, enveloping and with velvety tannins: the finish is persistent and long.
Recommended pairings with this red wine
Perfect with long-cooked meat such as stews, braises and roasts, both red meat and game. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
