Barbera d'Asti Superiore "NUDA" DOCG MONTALBERA
The production zone of this Barbera D’ Asti is the most famous of the region: DOCG Superiore Nuda. It is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, cultivated exclusively in the area of Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno, in the heart of Piedmont. The plants are trained with Guyot method. The traditional red wine making is followed by the aging, that is developed for 10-15 months in barriques made of French oak. Then, the wine continues its maturation in the bottle, where it rests horizontally at controlled temperature.

Intense ruby red colour with garnet shades. Its perfume is intense, powerful and characteristic, with hints of cassis, dehydrated plums, tobacco, leather and goudron. The impenetrable taste, quite alcoholic, is warm and sour.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this wine from Piedmont
It is suggested with savoury dishes, especially with polenta and sausages. It has to be served at 16°C in a wide wine glass that allows oxygenation. The alcoholic strength is 14% Vol.
