Fruit of the vinification by the Cecchi winery of Sangiovese grapes for 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon for 20%, and Merlot for 20%, as well as a small percentage of Petit Verdot grapes for a maximum of 10% . The provenance falls in the territory of Castellina in Chianti for Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon; while the DOC of the Maremma Toscana for the Petit Verdot and Merlot represents the reference territory. The vinification involves a separate maceration and a fermentation in steel of the must which is kept at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Alcoholic fermentation ended in the presence of the skins. Finally, the refinement of the wine which extends for 18 months in barriques and over 12 months in the bottle.

Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine

This wine has an intense ruby red color. The scent is broad and fresh, characterized by the fruity texture and takes hold on the nose, where blackberries, plums and dark cherries join the vegetal nuances and spicy and licorice memories. The taste on the sip is round and broad, complex and refined in the tannic texture, with a long persistence.
