Descrizione vino

The grape variety used by the technicians of Fina Winery for the production of this particular Sicilian wine is 100% pure Syrah. The international grape variety is very well expressed in Sicily and is bred strictly within the corporate areas of Western Sicily. The harvest takes place in the month of August-September. The vinification follows the traditional method and the fermentation develops in steel. It follows the aging of the wine which develops in steel and then twelve months in barrique.

 

Characteristics of this Syrah from Fina Winery

The appearance of the wine is intense and deep, a red with shades that tend to dark purple. The intense and fruity aroma with hints of small black fruits and spices, especially black pepper. It has a good structure and persistence, it is soft and quite fresh with an average tannicity. The taste in the mouth the taste is that of a robust and well structured wine.

 

Suggested pairings tasting this Sicilian wine

Excellent with mature cheeses and meat, with pasta with tomato sauce is perfect, great with game meat such as deer or wild boar and all red meat in the oven in general, as well as with meat stews. We can say that medium-strong flavors and Syrah are luxury allies. The optimal serving temperature is 18ºC in a high and wide glass.
