Wine description
Only completely healthy grapes that are slightly overripe are used to produce this Salento red wine from Cantina Due Palme: Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes harvested in mid-September are fermented at a controlled temperature and the resulting product is aged in French and American oak barriques and finally in bottles.
Characteristics of this Salento wine
It has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet evokes fruity notes of cherry, spices and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is enveloping, with a slight savoury vein and a long finish.
Recommended pairings with this red wine from Puglia
Try it with meat dishes, game and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18/20 °C.
