Descrizione vino

Argeo Prosecco produced by Ruggeri is a wine that linked to its territory. With the creation of new rules for wine production, the grape Prosecco changes its name in Glera, while the word Prosecco identifies the vaste territory of the denomination that goes from Trieste to Vicenza. Prosecco bunches, with their long shapes, the sparse aspect, their long and thin peduncle and the golden colour of their grapes, are delicate and elegant, exactly like the wine that they will produce. The harvest is planned quite late, at the end of October. A little quantity of Verdisa and Perera is always present in the vineyards. They give to the final product sourness and perfumes. The wine making considers the use of Glera 100%.

 

Features of Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut Argeo

Empty straw yellow colour with green reflections, clear, with a faint, rich and persistent perlage. Its perfume is elegant, with a rich bouquet characterized by flowers surrounded harmoniously by fruity hints that recall Golden apple. The taste is fresh, delicate, balanced and light. The alcoholic sensations are really low and the final is long-lasting and fruity.

 

Recommended food pairings while tasting this Prosecco Ruggeri

This brut is perfect for happy hours, fantastic with fish, starters and light main dishes. It has to be served at a temperature that swings between 6-8°C in a high, tapered flute. It reaches an alcoholic strength of 11,5% Vol.
